The product has thick white consistency, the scent of the product reminds me of warm rubber which strangely I liked. Once I applied the product onto my hair, I was able to control the style I wanted, giving my hair that messy matte textured finish, perfect for guys with shorter hair.
Lock Stock & Barrel have introduced a ‘hold factor – ranging from one to five’ into their hair styling range, which lets users know how strong the hold of the finish style is going to be, the hold factor of this product is 4 out of 5, personally I didn’t find this product strong enough, but this could all depend on the length and thickness of your hair.
The product contains five different types of parabens, Methyl paraben, Ethyl paraben, Butyl paraben, Propyl paraben and Isobutyl paraben which to me is OTT! Surely a product doesn’t need that amount of parabens?
While I didn’t find the finishing hold strong enough, this could all be down to the thinness of my hair, maybe that affected the products performance? I would like point out that the ‘hold factor’ could have easily been a three instead of a four as I didn’t feel the product lived up to the product’s description.
